The next generation of conservation

The global environmental crisis is an issue that will be increasingly prevalent in the future, and these responsibilities will lie on the shoulders of today’s youth. Our project purpose is to provide a call to action to young people to reflect on their connections to local and national green spaces and to join forces to help preserve these ecosystems for future generations. Our goal was to discuss how the younger generation is involved in their local communities by interviewing activists, interns, leaders, and mentors as well as field experts like UConn professors and other professionals.
